my happy place

by Janette Wright / Tuesday, 03 October 2017 / Published in Uncategorized

These days we seem to have one day of mid-summer and the next mid-winter, its all been quite confusing.

Nonetheless, I have been having a great time in my studio. It took a few days for me to tune in and get back int the creating zone. Sometimes there is other work, sometimes there are too many people in the house or sometimes I just need to go for a bike ride! My favourite route is from Pinelands to Constantianek, via Newlands and Cecilia Forest and the Kirstenbosch single tracks.

It works out best if there are many creative days in quick succession, without weeks in between. But I do love all the other people I get to work with, the work and it all kind of balances out in the end.

Below are a few snapshots of what has been going on in the studio.
