Making these pastel drawing is quite an indulgence, that is why I have not made any for a while. The colours are simply amazing, vibrant, alive, moving.
The process is 100% intuitive, therapeutic and fun. I start with absolutely nothing in mind and just let the marks become what they will. It seems that what emerges is always some birdlike form.
