On Saturday 6 July we had our second art workshop.
The focus was on “line” (different types of line), basic shapes and shading. We explored the many values made by pencil (from black, through all the grays to white) and later drew messy charcoal drawings of jugs and teapots.
Some said the class was “haaaard” but all said they really enjoyed it! To end the session off, we made a “random scribble drawing” – which resulted in many interresting fantastical creatures.
Next time we will look at texture, more object drawing and end off with a fun colourful collage.
Baie mooi!
