What a great and fun time we had this morning! It might have been chilly outside, but plied with tea, coffee, milo and cake – the art vibe was hot!
I am so proud of what everybody achieved. They first practised making a grey scale ranging from black to white with pencils. Next on the menu was a contour drawing of one of their hands. Lastly they made a charcoal sketch implementing the shading techniques learnt earlier in the lesson.
My youngest “victim” was 14 and the oldest 94!
Everybody was keen to do another charcoal drawing class – and we will. Soon.
