In May we did a two part beginners watercolour class.

I am posting the pics of the steps I followed to make my sample landscape. Draw the basic composition very lightly in with pencil. Remember, water is the medium that makes the pigment flow over the paper, start VERY LIGHT and with diluted pigment. Slowly build up the basic shapes and the shadow areas. Lastly fill in the detail.
We will have two follow-up sessions in July, I think the two consecutive Saturdays worked well. Here are some suggested dates for July:
